Many thanks for the lovely article about my departure from Cyprus and for the compliments with regard to my work here.
I have loved working with Zypernhunde and have made many friends through our association. While I am looking forward to a new life in Wales I am very sad at leaving all the lovely dogs at Julias, as well as the human friends I have made here. One of the hardest things I have had to do was to go and say goodbye to all the dogs - but I will follow their progress through the websites and from keeping in touch with friends still there. I am sure I will get involved in something again in Wales - just not sure what yet! Maybe it is time to look at more fostering, home checks etc. We will see!
I have always thought Zypernhunde/Cydra to be a great working organisation. Unfortunately things don't always go the way we want so I have to say I am saddened by the division. However, I know that Zypernhunde will go on and continue to do their wonderful work with and for the dogs in the future. On behalf of the dogs of Cyprus I thank you all for that.
I treasure my association and friendship with Zypernhunde and with so many German friends. Joseph introduced me to you all and we have become friends thanks to him. One of the most favourite parts of my job has been working with special needs dogs. They are amazing!
Sally and Ace will have a great time in the future with all those green fields......and all that Welsh rain!

Das gesamte Zypernhunde-Team, möchte sich bei Carole Husein, die so vielen Zypernhunden geholfen hat Menschen wieder zu vertrauen, bedanken.
Carole verlässt Zypern und wird zukünftig mit ihrem Mann John, den Hunden Ace und Sally, wieder in ihre Heimat Wales, auf einer schönen Farm wohnen.
Speziell für Sally wird es eine ganz neue Erfahrung. Sally kommt aus dem Julia Shelter.
Vor ca. 2 ½ Jahren hat sich Sally Carole ausgesucht. Sally saß immer am Zaum wenn Carole vorbei ging - nach dem Motto - so nun nimm mich endlich mit.
Die Ausdauer von Sally hat sich gelohnt und Carole nahm sie mit.
Sie wird nun Wiesen kennenlernen, wo sie unendlich viel laufen kann. Was für ein Traum!
Nicht nur den Zypernhunden hat Carole mit viel Geduld und Ausdauer geholfen,
siehe die Geschichte um Joseph, welche in einem Buch festgehalten wurde von Eike Martin, sondern sie hat auch etliche Projekte ins Leben gerufen, wie z.B.:
Und gemeinsam mit ihrem Trainerteam hat sie einigen Zypernhunden, wie Nora und Leonida zum Novice Trick Dog Zertifikat verholfen. Nora und Leonida
Liebe Carole, wir wünschen dir, John, Ace und Sally alles Liebe und Gute für die Zukunft und ganz vielen lieben Dank für all das, was du für die Zypernhunde getan hast.
